Please ask your administrator to visit our website to sign up on your behalf. We are also happy to speak with them directly. Please feel free to contact us any time.

For courses with total durations under 16 hours: 

Requests to reschedule or cancel a reserved spot must be received at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time. A $25 service fee will apply for rescheduling, and a $40 service fee will apply for all withdrawals.

The full course fee will be forfeited for requests received within 48 hours of the scheduled start time.

For courses with total durations over 16 hours:

Requests to reschedule or cancel a reserved spot must be received at least 7 days before the scheduled start date. A $250 service fee will apply for all changes.

The full course fee will be forfeited for requests received within 7 days before the scheduled start date.

Emergency First Aid Training provides essential knowledge to handle life- and limb-threatening situations, including head injuries, open fractures, shock, loss of consciousness, and severe bleeding.

Standard First Aid Training is a comprehensive two-day course that covers everything in Emergency First Aid, plus additional skills such as managing emergency scenes and treating a wider range of injuries, including burns, wound care, heat exhaustion, hypothermia, fractures, and more.

Many employers require staff to complete Standard First Aid Training. However, it’s always best to check with your employer for specific requirements. If you’re unsure, opting for Standard First Aid ensures that you will meet the highest level of training typically needed in the workplace.

Please wear comfortable clothing as we will be practicing life-saving skills with other students. Please also bring a pair of clean, slip-on shoes for indoors only to keep our practice area clean. All courses will have a written exam component in the end so please bring a pen/pencil and paper to take notes. It is essential that you stay hydrated throughout the course, and we ask that you bring a water bottle. 

There is free parking at the mall and lots of food options are available.

For your convenience, we offer the following items for purchase in class:

  • Occupational First Aid Level One Kit: $118.00 + GST
  • Pocket First Aid Kit: $5.00 + GST
  • Pocket Mask: $15.00 + GST

Upon arrival, your personal information will be collected digitally to facilitate the issuance of your certificate. Your information will be entered into the Canadian Red Cross database.

Once you successfully complete the course, you will receive a permanent virtual certificate via email. Please be sure to check your spam folder if you do not receive an email from Red Cross within 48 hours of course completion. 

Additionally, you can access your certification and course manual anytime through your MyRedCross account.
